Which treatment is best for unwanted permanent hair removal? Laser or electrolysis?

I m 22 years old. i have some unwanted facial hair on my face. I haven't done waxing or threading or any kind of temporary hair removal procedures till now. I want to take a permanent solution for this. But i came to know that electrolysis is very painful procedure(intolerable sometimes) and laser only reduces the hair growth but doesnt remove it! Does electrolysis permanently removes hair? are there anyone who gone through this procedure? any genuine feed back or advise is appreciated. I goggled about it but i wanted to hear a word from the people who gone through the procedure and are they satisfactory with them? Thank you
