The inside of my gauges are pink, do i have a blowout? or am i not healed yet?

i started gauging my ears, i used neosporin and ear cleaner. my ears hurt while gauging, but there was no blood, and it wasnt too painful, im just not good with pain. but however, when i take out my gauges, (4g) they are alittle pinkish in the inside, i clean my gauges every day atleast twice, i doubt they are infected, but does this pink color mean i have a blowout? i took my time gauging, but only waited about two weeks between my 6G to a 4G gauge change. i know sizing up quickly is bad, but my 6G didnt hurt, was healed, and loose. i plan on staying at a 4g, so if its not a blow out should it heal?
