How bad does an overbite have to be for braces?

oh god ya! you need braces. it will correct the problem totally. i have braces right now! i had a very bad overbite like yours don't worry it will correct after 12-16 months. mine are completely straight after only 12 months so far! hope it helped. ps- it doesn't hurt when you get braces on.
