Really painful periods?

so im on Ortho Tri Cyclen (birth control) because of my acne. when i have my period i have ear aches, tooth aches, all my bones hurt, and i just wanna cry every second haha. ive tried pamprin and midol, and they both dont do ANYTHING. is there anything i can take over the counter OR perscription, that would make my periods more plesant? i have work and school and i can't have every period be like this anymore. any suggestions?
