Small hole above anus help?

I have a small hole above my anus that has been bleeding as well as painful and itching for about a year now(tried ignoring it) I'm not sure what it is so far I think it is a Pilonidal Cyst but its too close to the anus to be one so I don't know what it is. Its a little embarrassing to bring up to a doctor so id at least like to know what it is before i do. Thanks for the help
